Our Story

FIPA Coaching Programmes

FIPA offers four distinct coaching programmes designed to develop capable, ethical, and practical coaches. All programmes begin with foundational coach training and are subsidized in keeping with FIPA’s values of service, dignity, and real-world usefulness.

1) Basic Coaching (12 Hours)

A practical introduction to coaching adults in everyday and professional situations. Learn core coaching skills such as structured questioning, goal support, ethical boundaries, and how to help people move from confusion to clarity.

2) Coaching for Survival

This programme combines coaching with critical thinking and security-minded decision-making. It trains coaches to help others think clearly under pressure, strengthen judgment, and make safer choices in uncertain or high-stress situations.

3) Coaching for Transitions

Designed for major life and role shifts — such as youth to mid-life, staff to supervisor, or entry into new levels of responsibility. This stream includes corporate realities: performance expectations, leadership pressure, workplace decision-making, and accountability.

4) Coaching Persons Over Age 60

A specialized stream focused on coaching older adults with dignity and realism. Themes include purpose, adjustment, resilience, contribution, and late-stage decision support. Entry requirement: participants must be 45+.

Standards and Selection

Coaching is not therapy. FIPA coaching does not train participants to diagnose or treat mental health conditions. We teach clear ethical boundaries and appropriate referral.

Because we want these programmes to be special — not ordinary, there is a selection process.

Minimum requirements

  • High school graduate

  • Demonstrated life or work experience

  • An affinity for coaching and helping others grow responsibly

Certification and Follow-Up

Participants who complete their programme receive a FIPA Global Certificate and are invited into follow-up support and community as part of the FIPA Global family.
